About
In nothing short of five-inch heels, Yissel spins a style that has set her apart in Miami: house, hip-hop, R&B, rare grooves and vintage classics in a single set, an approach she calls Eclectic Dance Music. She came to DJing from a career in event marketing, started as a way to unwind, and became one of the city's most visible DJs, known locally as Miami's DJ Darling.
She is a resident at E11EVEN, where she has played Race Week during the F1 Grand Prix, and the in-arena DJ for Miami Heat games at Kaseya Center. Earlier residencies include LIV, Hyde Beach at the SLS and Faena, and she is a founding member DJ at Soho House Miami. She has performed at Art Basel, the South Beach Wine & Food Festival and New York Fashion Week, and collaborated with Ferrari, Gucci, Christian Louboutin, Versace, Moët & Chandon, Porsche and Spotify.
Her sets have travelled from Santo Domingo to Switzerland and St. Maarten and, of course, Miami Beach, where she bridges the gap between commercial and cool.
