About
Reid Waters is a Miami DJ, producer and creative with more than twelve years of residencies at the city's biggest clubs, from LIV to E11EVEN, and a passport stamped from Jamaica to Japan. He is one of the people who brought dancehall, reggae and Afro-Caribbean music to the front of Miami nightlife, co-founding Bashment and Coco Jelly at Basement in The Miami Beach EDITION with Silent Addy, The Homies Only at Soho Beach House, and the Miami Vice Episode at Gramps.
As a producer he works with Jamaican dancehall star Konshens, with features on "Spend It" and "Want You Back", and released the 26-track "Du Road" with his long-time partner DJ Smo on Evidence Music. International dates include Hard Rock Hotel Punta Cana and 1 OAK Tokyo.
His sets are open format in the truest sense: hip-hop, house, Top 40 and Caribbean music blended so that there is something for everyone, and an after-hours energy that keeps the room until the lights come on.
