About
Mr. Mauricio is Miami, born and raised, with more than twenty years behind the decks. He started at 11, was playing house parties by 16, and came up through the bass, freestyle, and hip-hop that defined the city's sound. Miami New Times called him one of Miami's best and most influential hip-hop DJs.
For over a decade he has hosted radio mix shows across Y-100, Power 96, and 103.5 The Beat, where he currently records the #1-ranked Rush Hour Mix Show with iHeartMedia. He is a member of DJ Enuff's Heavy Hitters crew. His residencies span Miami nightlife history, from Opium, Mansion, and Crobar to LIV, plus 1 OAK, Marquee, Up & Down, and TAO in New York and 1 OAK and Playhouse in Los Angeles, with dates in Las Vegas, Chicago, Europe, and Asia.
For private and corporate events, that depth means a DJ who can move a room through hip-hop, R&B, house, 80s, funk, and pop with the authority of someone who helped shape Miami's sound.
