About
Las Flaquitas are a New York DJ trio: Jessica Gjoza, Tatiana Varchola, and Kaila Burke-Ozuna, best friends since freshman year of high school in Manhattan. Their open-format sets draw on their multicultural roots, moving through dancehall, R&B, bachata, house, hip-hop, reggaeton, and Afro-Caribbean music so that the room keeps moving no matter the venue.
They played their first gig in the summer of 2022, launched the collective in 2023, and have moved fast since: a Boiler Room debut at Brooklyn Mirage alongside Yaeji and Eli Escobar, six Paris Fashion Week sets in a single year, Le Bain, the Carnegie International opening-night party, and a mix for Aimé Leon Dore. Essence Girls United featured them in its “Uncredited” series.
